Firm History

Serotte, Rockman & Wescott, P.A. was formed in 1992. The Firm was created with a mission that remains today: Offering the sophisticated legal services usually associated with larger firms, but in a more responsive, small firm atmosphere and at an economical, highly competitive prices. The Firm has represented a variety of clients from medical specialty practices, beer and liquor distributors, retail clients, including grocery stores and fast food restaurants, to non-profit organizations.

The Firm was founded by Neal Serotte, a native of the Bronx, New York, who began practicing law in 1974. He had practiced at Frank, Goldstein, Conaway & Goldman for 15 years. Mr. Serotte was later joined by Jeffrey Rockman, born in Brooklyn New York, who had also practiced at Frank, Bernstein for almost 20 years.

Lawrence S. Wescott, who had worked as a field attorney for the National Labor Relations Board and was later a partner at Venable, Baetjer & Howard joined Serotte, Rockman & Wescott as a partner in 1994 before retiring in 2000.
